Gorgeous, a village boutique salon attracts such a diverse clientele, we are continuously challenged to deliver on a wide range of styles.
We pride ourselves on our great sense of connection between staff and clients, our ability to deliver a service that puts the customer first, working in consultation with them and keeping up with the latest trends.
Change has been inevitable and we’ve embraces it enthusiastically by constantly delivering styles to suit every taste and welcome a creatively charged environment that encourages clients to become more involved in the design process.

It’s fair to say that Sharon wouldn’t still been in the village if it wasn’t for the clients and her loyal team.
She has created such a wonderfully friendly atmosphere, promoting an environment where the team works together, swapping ideas and consulting with the customers for the best possible look.
Sharon constantly inspires creativity and strives to expand people’s knowledge of hair art, design and salon business. She has spent years building a loyal customer base with her unique approach, creating designs that compliment each client through a process of balance and proportion.

She is a gifted speaker and educator with all facets of hair and industry.
Her desire to help people be their best has evolved into a real concern for the environment both within and beyond the salon, by teaching her stylists to cultivate the habit of working with people to help sustain and create a “gorgeous” community in Crawley Down village.
Most recently this includes the introduction of our new range of hair products Davines and the refurbishment of the salon itself which can be seen to include many natural, reclaimed and recycled products.


Hayley Pratt


Hayley joined the Gorgeous team in 2010 after spending more than 10 years as a senior colour technician for Toni and Guy in crawley where she received extensive training in both L’Oréal and Wella hair colour.
Hayley loves customising her clients hair, from sun-kissed looks to bolder brighter industry looks that inspire creativity and always strives to expand people’s knowledge of hair colour artistry and home care. She has an extensive portfolio which includes a wonderful collection of her work for both colour and a large selection of bridal and formal hair ups, not forgetting Hayley is our resident Brazilian blow dry specialist and will soon be offering hair extensions which will widen her skills even more.

Christine is one of our newest stylists who joined the team at Gorgeous after an incredibly successful career spanning 14 years, in which time she has undertaken many specialist courses including classics courses with Toni and Guy, advanced cutting courses with Rush, and advanced L’Oréal colour training.
Christine has also done extensive theatre work in both London and Brighton, has had her work published in consumer magazines for photo shoots, editorial and advertising purposes as well as doing the hair for a music video.
Not to mention the portfolio of photographic session work she has under her belt.
Christine represents ambition and determination, which has driven her to success and lead her to become a key member of the team. Excelling in precise directional cuts and colour work, who prides herself in listening to clients needs and delivering individual looks

Natalie came to gorgeous in 2012 after working at Toni and Guy for 5 years. She began her career in Brighton where she trained for several years under the former head of Essanelle and Glemby  (now known as Regis) for several years before moving onto Toni and Guy. During this time Natalie focused her speciality on cutting and styling where she pushed the boundaries of hair design and creativity, which has allowed her to be responsible for photographic session work including various finalist spots for hairdressing awards, most recently the L’Oréal colour trophy.
This has only fuelled her desire to place emphasis on quality and finish with her quiet and understated dynamic approach to creating wearable art.

Karen has the upmost respect for the classics in both cutting and colouring, gained throughout her many years of experience in the hair industry.
Karen started her career at Ronald Henry’s in Crawley up until she left to go freelance, before eventually opening her own successful salon Loose Ends in East Grinstead in 1992.
Karen is one of the original “Gorgeous girls” and has a vast amount of expertise in her craft. This has meant that she is always in high demand. Her dedication to her clients has not only earned her many requests but also the profesional respect and admiration from the rest of the team.


Ashleigh Towes

Junior Stylist

Ashleigh is our fantastic junior stylist, who has been recently awarded her level 2 qualification.
Ashleigh is held in very high esteem both by stylists and clients alike after spending several years assisting with colour retouch, blow dries and treatments. Whilst currently continuing her education and training in the salon by our very own stylists has prepared her to be the very best stylist she can be as she starts her own creative journey. This has aready earned herself some regular requests.
